Hi,

I've got my colposcopy booked for next month, as well as being extremley nervous I'm worried about the after effects of having the lletz procedure. I do a manual job using tools & drive over the country in my van visiting customers. My boss is being very understanding I was just wondering how practical it would be doing my job after lletz or whether it would be better to have my duties adjusted temporarily? If anyone has got any imput I would really appreciate it :-) x

Hi Louise,

I think everyone is different after their lletz and some go back to work the next day. As you do quite a practical job you might be best taking a few days off and just make sure you take it easy for a couple of weeks. I think its probably quite hard to gage how your going to be after Lletz but if I was you i'd maybe see if I can adjust my duties for a week or two just to be on the safe side.
