I went for my colposcopy today after been refferd after my smear came back as boarderline but with high risk hpv. THe doctor performing the colposcopy said he couldon't see any abnomality and didn't need a biopsy. He has now discharged me back to three yearly smears. I'm really relieved woth the outcome and do feel very lucky but I'm worried that three years seems a long time in between smears when there has been a slight problem. Is this normal?
