I'm having colposcopy this afternoon but my period has arrived. I've rang the hhospital and the lady assured me it can still be done but I'm dreading it even more and so worried I'll end up having a repeat visit :-( Also worried it will hurt as I have wicked period pain.

I hope everything has gone ok for you. Surprised that they still did it as I know people who had theirs cancelled as they were on.
