Hi, sorry if this has been asked before.
I had abnormal cells found on my last smear around a month ago. I went in for a colposcopy 23rd August and today I received a letter with an appointment for another colposcopy 20th September. I haven’t had the results of the last one yet, has anyone else had this? Could it be a mistake? Or could they have found something and need me to go in for treatment?

It’s likely given the time scales that they want to do treatment, but someone should have written to you with the results AT LEAST, so please get in touch with your health care team and ask for some information. You are entitled to it!
