Hi please could I have some advice? I’ve been informed I have CIN1 cells “at most”, however no biopsy was taken of my cervix at the time of the colposcopy. Is it normal to have a biopsy to give a definitive diagnosis of the level of abnormality ? Any advice is appreciated. Symptoms - heavy prolonged bleeding, bleeding between periods, large clots, post coital bleeding & constant pelvic & lower back pain with and without bleeding. Pain to top of legs like tight bands. All clear for endometrial cancer- biopsy normal. Ultrasound clear in Aug 21 (pelvic & transvaginal).I’m awaiting ablation for heavy periods but no reason for my other symptoms
