I had some punch biopsies for suspected CIN3 and the report returned as acute on chronic cervicitis with small epithelial strips showing dysplasia most likely consistent with CIN2.
Anyone shed any light on this? I’ve been reading that acute cervicitis is a sign of an STD and chronic combined with HPV and dysplasia increases the cancer risk.
