I was just wondering if anyone could help me?? I'm wondering how long u ladies waited for your biopsy results to come back?? As you probably can guess I'm waiting for mine, I went to theatre a week ago tomorrow and I'm anxious to get the results back!

For me it was 1 week from the colposcopy to seeing the consultant, however the 'lady' (not a great experience to say the least !!) who took the biopsies at the colposcopy had already told me that there was cancer and sent me a letter confirming within 4 days. I had asked for them to be fast tracked because it was December and I didnt want to have delays due to the Christmas holidays.

It was 10 days after my colposcopy that I had a phone call (on a Friday) asking me to come in to see the consultant on the Monday.

I think it depends on where you live/hospital etc. I waited 16 days for my results.
