Started bleeding last night, 8 days after my lletz, its really heavy. Can't tell if its a period or not but i don't usually have them as on the implant. Can anyone offer any advice? xx

I had LLETZ 3 weeks ago and for the first week I only had a watery discharge. I only started bleeding 6 days after treatment. I'm also not having periods at the moment so it's not that. I think when I was treated they said it's quite normal to start bleeding a week or so after treatment. My bleeding hasn't been particularly heavy but it is still going. I think you need to be aware of any unpleasant smelling discharge as that can be a sign of infection. Did you get a phone number of the clinic when you were treated as if you are still concerned I'd give them a call if only to set your mind at ease.
