Hi Jo’s girls. I am nearly 7 years since my hysterectomy. For the first time I have just experienced bleeding after sex. Obviously mind now into overdrive as this has never happened before. Anyone else experienced this?

Although I haven't had a hysterectomy, there is a website called hystersisters that may help you. I had a quick look and it seemed to suggest an infection and/or catching of scar tissue at the vaginal cuff can cause bleeding. Have a look and hopefully that will help put your mind at rest although it's worth giving your gp a call too so if it is an infection it can be sorted out x
