Hi, I had a colposcopy on Monday which was a bit traumatic tbh. They struggled to get the right speculum, then the biopsy equipment wasn't working so that got tried 3 times. By the end it looked a bit like a horror film. Anyway they ended up having to use gauze to stop the bleeding. Which came out on Thursday which was a bit of a shock as I was told it was supposed to disintegrate. There was some lightly stained discharge after that. But today, I had a struggle going to the toilet and have now had very light bleeding. Has anyone else had this? Just wondering if I've aggravated it by straining. Apologies for the TMI. I actually thought they were just going to treat the cervical ectropion I've been told I have so it was all a bit of a shock. She said they wouldn't treat without doing biopsies and that i looked inflamed too so I don't know what's going on now. I've been googling ways to help myself too if anyone has found any vitamins etc that they have found to help.
