Great news. Following CT and MRI have been diagnosed with slipped disc. Hope this helps anyone having s freak out with similar symtoms in the future googling 'back leg buttock pain cervical cancer' because those words don't bring up a lot of good news let me tell you!!

I never thought I'd hear myself tell someone that a slipped disc is great news, but having had two discs and one cancer, this is so much better than you feared :-) Here's hoping it can be fixed without surgery
