looking for some advice or just to talk to people who have been through similar.
I have a history of endometriosis and have also had lettz treatment to remove CIN 1 and 2 in 2012 at the age of 19. I have recently had another colposcopy due to bleeding problems and the lady mumbled something about ectropion and then put the stuff on my cervix and took a biopsy. She did not say much to me just to " wait for results"
Hi Chrissymay, how are you? Have you received your results? It is such a worrying time. I had a colposcopy yesterday and expected the dr to say all fine and be on my way but instead there was a visible lump on my cervix and the abnormal cells were white under the acid test bit all over the top half of my cervix. She decided to do the LLETZ treatment there and then and removed a fair bit of my cervix. I'm in pain and bleeding but to be expected i think. I am in absolute bits panicking about waiting 4 weeks for biopsy results. Does it really take that long?! Hope you're doing ok. X
