sorry to keep posting, i had a punch biopsy done on the 28th august i was told to wait 4-6 weeks for results ive recieved a letter today no results in it just a appointment letter to see my gyno on the 19th october,has anyone else had this or could any one give ne any possible reason? i tried to ring but obvs its a sat ans no one was in x

Sounds like we are in the same boat, I had a punch biopsy in August and last week I got a letter saying I needed "treatment" with appointment to follow. Got my appointment letter for colposcopy on Friday and it doesn't have any more details. (this has all happened in the last three weeks). I called the clinic but the notes just said "treatment" which the nurse explained was unusual as the treatment procedure is always recoded on the booking system. My appointment is for Monday 12 Sept (one week away) and I am trying hard not to be worried but honestly I have a terrible bad feeling in my tummy that I cannot shake.
I am sorry that I am not able to share some light on your situation but thought you might like to know you are not on your own. I actually have another thrread on this forum asking for ladies in similar positions but haven't had a reply yet, only posted on Friday night. If anything your appointment is not until mid October which is good, as I think if it is serious you would be called back much sooner - if that makes sense?
