Hi ladies, I'm so glad this forum exists.
I suffer from awful anxiety and have booked my first smear for next Tuesday after putting it off for 2 years and my anxiety not even letting me get out of the door. I don't show any symptoms but have had a urine infection recently, urinating quite frequently (particularly at night) and its not 100% yet and I have lower back pain. I'm back on antibiotics but I get some sharp pains in my pelvis area and sometimes have discharge but usually closer to my period than anything else.
I'm just overthinking and getting worried that it's something more serious. I know I need to get to the doctors for this smear, but my sister had abnormal recently and it's got me even worried. Any tips or advice to put me at ease please?
