Hi all, I had my lletz today. It wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. I was supposed to have it under ga but because I have sleep apnea it was bringing the procedure to a whole different level. When I went for consultation today doc said he had to do it today and couldn't leave it. He and the nurses were brilliant. After a very traumatising colposcopy with biopsies I was a nervous wreck. I'm now glad I got it done and over with. The wait for results begins again. My question is the doctor prescribed antibiotics as a precautionary measure. Has anyone else been prescribed them after lletz without any sign of infection?

I've had two Lletz procedures both under GA and both times I was given antibiotics to use for a few days after . Hope you recover quick and get plenty of rest.
