Hi everyone!
I haven't posted in here for quite some time now as I've still been in and out of the clinic and only recently got my second opinion in October. I'll put a little refresher in here with my background.
Last January I finally went to the GP after 2 years of post-sex bleeding and pain. Had a smear, abnormal cells, referred for colposcopy. I am 22 and live in Canada so the protocol for smears is different, but the attitude toward treating women under 25 is the same. The colposcopist was fairly rude, basically told me there was no way it could be anything sinister and that it was probably some sort of STI causing my cervix to appear the way it was (red, inflammed and bleeding). She took biopsies and they came back CIN 3/carcinoma in situ. I got those results in April. She did not want to do a LLETZ as she was convinced this could go away on its own and wanted to see me again in 6 months.
Only after I had a bout of severe bleeding and bleeding after a bowel movement did they agree to see me again. She had a similar attitude, did some more biopsies and got the same results. She still wanted to wait to do the Lletz. Needless to say I made a decision to look for another Gyn.
I got referred to another gyn and saw her in October. She agreed that things should be taken a bit more seriously and I am set to see her in January (she was on a pretty heft wait list for appointments).
Anyways the point of this post was that this weekend I started to have some troubling symptoms. While at work I started to bleed a little bit, there was no explanation for that. I'm on the pill and did not miss any pills or anything that could cause this. I ignored it as these things have been pretty common over the years now. However, when I got home that night I started to have very strong pain in my upper thighs and hips that was crampy and pinchy. I then woke up in the middle of the night with a ton of watery pink discharge- a very significant amount of this watery substance tinged with blood. This has continued into today, I've never seen anything like this before.
Has anyone experienced this? I don't want to bug the gyno office or go to a walk in clinic if its just part of having high-grade dysplasia.
Thank you for any help or advice you may have :(
