Hi ladies! I’ve recently had a cone biopsy for diagnosed AIS (plus CIN & HPV 18) and I’m looking for anyone that’s in a similar situation! My results showed a clearance of just 0.4mm so my surgeon has suggested I go straight for a hysterectomy as the margins are too small and risky. Im 29, have two children and a very supportive partner but I guess I’m just looking for anyone that’s tried a cone biopsy to avoid a hysterectomy but has been told hysterectomy is the only safe bet.
