This is my first post on here just looking for some advice...
I had my first ever smear test in April this year! Results comes back showing severe abnormal cells (CIN3) I had a colposcopy and they did a loop excision and removed the abnormal cells, they sent them off for a biopsy and they come back fine, no sign of cancer and I have to go for another smear in 6 months time...
It's been 4 months and ever since having the procedure my periods have been super heavy, massive clots the only thing I can compare it to is like a miscarriage, also the past few weeks I have started bleeding after intercourse which has never happened before...
I did get an infection a week after the procedure and had to go on 2 lots of antibiotics for it to clear up.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this after having the procedure?
I have booked a doctor's appointment for tomorrow after speaking to her on the phone she said I need to be examined.
