Hi all!
I’m hoping some of you lovely ladies will help me understand my latest smear results.
Last year I had an abnormal smear which I had a colposcopy and confirmed HPV (no idea which strain) and CIN1, they got me back in six months for a repeat smear and scheduled a further colposcopy for a year (this August)
Anyway, I have just had my results back and they state ‘the cells in the sample from your cervix looked normal. We understand that your GP or nurse has recommended that you have another test called colposcopy to take a closer look at your cervix’
If they came back normal how come the nurse has said I need to go back?
I’m worried sick it’s something worse now, please someone shed some light on my situation!
