A little back story - I had my first ever smear in Nov’ 21 and was referred for a colposcopy for HPV positive and cell changes. I had a biopsy taken and found out in Jan ‘22 that my changes were low grade and perhaps seemed worse on the smear due to inflammation on my cervix.
I’ve just had my 6 month appointment - they performed a smear and did another biopsy just in case but also took a couple of swabs as they once again noted inflammation on my cervix…. I’m a massive over thinker and even though I have no symptoms of concern I can’t help but worry especially as I found the whole process more painful the second time around!….
Has anyone had anything similar and can help ease my find whilst I wait for results?
