Hiya guys, sorry I haven't posted for ages but things have been a bit mental! Anyway I went for my 6 month check up smear Tuesday last week and got the results through today in the post saying my smear was normal but they tested it and the lab showed evidence of hpv infection. So iv got to go for a colposcopy, but what im wondering is, is it going to be the same as when results were abnormal, ie dye my cervix to see for anything which shows up and if so then biopsy etc or will the just have a good look and if nothing comes up I get to go back to yearly or 6 monthly smears?
any help or advice would be a great help especially if anyone has had a simalar experience!!
