Hi - I wanted to share the great news that I've now been discharged from hospital care. I know that ladies search for positive news when first diagnosed.
My journey started in May 2015 when I was diagnosed 2b adenocarcinoma. Those early days of waiting were hard but once treatment started it seemed to get easier. My hardest period was the 8 months following treatment where doubt about the success of treatment hung over me. I was under constant review with ongoing scans & appointments. Then came the news I needed to hear - no evidence of disease! Amazing!
So to everyone here, stay positive. The journey can be hard and take twists and turns, but hang on in there.
